Reto Bürgin

Portrait 

Reto Bürgin studied Geography (BA/MA), Sociology (MA) and Hispanistics (BA) at the University of Basel. He finished his master with a thesis about the urban resistance in the harbor area of Basel. He additionally holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in "Interdisciplinary Conflict Analysis and Conflict Resolution". 

Publications

During his study period, he worked as a researcher and lecturer at the Seminar of Sociology (University of Basel), at the Department of Environmental Sciences Geography/Urban and Regional Studies (University of Basel) and at the GIScience Center: Geographic Information Visualization and Analysis (University of Zurich). Since October 2015, he works as a research assistant at the ETH Wohnforum - ETH CASE. 

He was chief coordinator of the No cost Housing Conference 2016 in Zurich.
