Daniela Sanjines


Joined the ETH Wohnforum - ETH Case as a researcher and part of the MAS ETH in Housing coordination team in 2018. Previously, she worked for the city of Bogotá in the implementation of urban renewal plans for the city center, for the Ministry of Housing in the design and execution of national housing policies, as well as for FINDETER the major Finance Institution for Development in Colombia where she led the design of development action plans for several medium-sized cities across the country. She has also worked for the Camp Improvement Programme of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the West Bank. Daniela holds a degree in architecture (BA) from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota and a M.Sc in International Cooperation and Urban Development from the Technical University of Darmstadt and in Sustainable Emergency Architecture from the Universidad Internacional de Catalunya, Barcelona.


As a researcher at the ETH Wohnforum - ETH CASE, she is currently woking in research projects on art-based urban upgrading projects in Bogota, Colombia and a comparative analysis of housing cooperatives in Uruguay and Switzerland.
